Attire

Gowns, Tuxes, and Alterations....OH MY! Shopping for your perfect gown can be the most enjoyable experience of planning your wedding. Follow these tips to ensure stress stays at bay!

  • Keep your dress shopping crew SMALL. It should be an intimate shopping experience with maybe just your mother and maid of honor. The more people in toe, mean the more different opinions being contributed, and the less it becomes your decision.

  • It is important to find and purchase your dress, and bridesmaids dresses 6-9 months in advance to allow time for delivery, and any possible alterations or changes that may need to be made.

  • For tuxes, make sure you are going in for measurements 3 months out, as well as making sure you are NOT going during prom season! Doing so would mean you'd need to fight the prom crowd for an attentive representative.
