It all started when… we demanded something better from Ourselves.

The Nebraska Wedding Vendor Association was founded by Shelly Richardson, Daniel Dunlap, and Robert Wurth in an effort to unite and recognize quality wedding related businesses all across Nebraska for their outstanding service. It is our mission to encourage each individual's business to reach their highest potential, while working together for the common goal of providing each couple the wedding of their dreams. 

Members of the Nebraska Wedding Vendors Association must meet several high standards in order to qualify. There are no fees, no subscriptions. We are not bought out! (I mean...unless it's for a billion dollars...in which case we'll split it with all the vendors here and have a giant party! It's all good...you'll be invited!) It costs nothing to join except to prove your passion, customer satisfaction, and talent. Couple's searching the site are sure to find honestly reliable quality vendors. Qualifications will differ for each category, but the main standards we expect every professional vendor to meet include: 

  • Must have been a functioning business for at least 2 years

  • Must be licensed (where applicable) and insured

  • Must have and maintain a minimum of 4 star rating across most platforms

  • Must be located in Nebraska

  • Must have a professional website to which clients can easily find them

  • Majority of their business must be dedicated to weddings

  • Must have professional contracts drawn up for each client
